Penguins, Part 1: The Limmerick
There one was a penguin named Linus.
He said, "Let's put Windows behind us."
He wrote up a kernel,
Gave it a whirl,
And then showed the world what's behind it.
Note: I'm going to tell a rough approximation of the Linus Torvalds story in allegory form, using real (made-up) penguins. In a future post. That should give you something to look forward to!
Until Then,
Andrew
(note: Linus Torvalds wrote an open-source operating system called Linux, which is often symbolized by a penguin because of Torvalds's affinity for the little tux-ed creatures.)
